TOY HORSE
I think dreams are carried on the wind by one of these.
Patchworked
Or we might call it the Tattooed Flamingo?
FIVE HATS
Lighthearted fun. Easter hats come to mind--if you're old enough to remember those days!
THIRD TULIP
Just a little sunshine for your day.
Let the Wind Blow
FIRST TULIP
Spring. The hope of all things new.
O HOLY NIGHT
When heaven came down and touched earth, changing everything, forever.
SOLITUDE
Solitude refines the soul.
LOOKING FORWARD, LOOKING BACK
“Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back, everything is different...” --C.S. Lewis
THE BOTTLE CAP WOMAN
“Keep looking up…that’s the secret of life.” —Snoopy (Charles M. Schulz)
A COW NAMED DOGGIE
“The common eye sees only the outside of things, and judges by that, but the seeing eye pierces through and reads the heart and the soul.” -- Mark Twain
NONCONFORMIST
“It gives me great pleasure indeed to see the stubbornness of an incorrigible nonconformist warmly acclaimed.” --Albert Einstein
IMPOSSIBLE...ISN'T
"Man is so made that when anything fires his soul, impossibilities vanish." -- Jean de la Fontaine
FALLEN BEAUTY
Already the heat of summer is making me long for my favorite season--autumn. This image was made with a new technique for me, starting with paint work on a gelli plate and the results taken into the iPad for the rest of the process.
SUMMER CHAIRS
These images were gathered from several locations and combined in a color-specific image for a client. Fun in the sun with lots of teeny tiny splatters--a technique I really enjoy.
SIMPLY SUCCULENT
Just because it makes me happy. That is, sometimes, enough.
BY ANY OTHER NAME
Sometimes we want to experience things from the usual perspective. But life has a way of making us look at things from "down under" and we find that, after all, there is beauty there, too.
PASSING THROUGH
I know this world is not my final home...I'm just passing through. --Jim Reeves
TIMELESS HYMNS
The inside of an old pocket watch, a window, and a bunch of old hymns glued to a board at a flea market. Old hymns can shine a light through the window of the soul.
